Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting in the implementation of home health clinical services within the Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) in a defined area in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Agency policies. The Supervisor supervises and evaluates assigned professional and para-professional staff in the local office.

  • Carries out the agency’s mission, philosophy, goals and objectives within guidelines of Agency policy and position function.
  • Interprets and implements the Agency’s philosophy to staff and members of the community.
  • Assists assigned staff to assess patient and family needs, develop plans of care and provide necessary services to families using other disciplines and services.
  • Assists in identifying the needs for evaluation services by others (e.g., physician, social workers, therapists, etc.) and provides administrative supervision of these support services.
  • Assists assigned staff in setting priorities and development of plans or health promotion, preventive, therapeutic and restorative care services to individuals and families, based upon immediate and long range goals.
  • Provides direct services to families where needs may be of such a nature as to require special skills, teaching or evaluation, demonstrates technical skills, or teaching, interviewing, or other abilities to staff or families.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $132,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from an approved school is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
