Overview

The position will support the ArchCare Advantage Quality Improvement Department with Appeals and HEDIS production activities. The position assists the QI Associates with clerical and Appeal file creation and update as well as upload and data entry into the HEDIS production software Harvest.

Responsibilities

  1. Calls to provider offices/Medical Record office to verify: Address, Specialty, whether or not member has been to see the provider, Have/do not have or received the information or other verifications
  2. Create mail merges or fax information for appeals processing
  3. Stuff envelopes/mail or create UPS packages for pickup
  4. Follow up call to verify receipt of requests for WOL or other items
  5. Follow up telephone call if records have not been received
  6. Upload/download/Print/scan, create electronic file for appeals
  7. create file folders for MR collection
  8. Download HRAs, print, scan
  9. Data entry and upload of electronic files into Harvest MRR tool
  10. AssisQIQI staff with collection of records from non-sigma care facilities and congregational settings (via telephone and fax)
  11. Screen printing of claims system screens
  12. Tracking receipt of records for each measure/member/facility (Via spreadsheet log)
  13. Scanning paper records collected by measure
  14. Assigning of bar codes to Store completed paper records HEDIS MY 2020
  15. Documenting detail of outreach to providers, members or facilities for audit purposes.

 

Qualifications

Associates degree is required. Bachelors preferred

Must be proficient in the use of microsoft office applications at minimum have used Microsoft Outlook e-mail, MS Word and Excel 

Have good communication skills written and spoken

Professional telephone manner

Data entry skills as well as excellent computer skills

Detail oriented 

Willing to learn new software
