  • Overview

    This position is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of ArchCare’s grant funded Workforce Investment Organization (WIO). Register WIO learners in the Learning Management System (LMS), correspond with learners and their employers via phone and email to confirm enrollment in training programs and respond to inquiries about training programs. Assist in the creation, management and maintenance of e-learning classes and curriculums in the LMS. Ensure classroom space is reserved and set up according to trainer specifications prior to training events and arrange for refreshments. Assist the WIO Manager and Sr. Director of L&OD with the creation of reports and training outcomes by pulling reports from the LMS. Greet learners who attend in-person training events. Provides support as needed to the WIO Manager and Sr. Director of L&OD.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Five Star Customer Service to all internal and external customers 100% of the time.
    • Assist in creating initiatives and activities that promote maximum employee effectiveness and creates a positive impact on service quality
    • Assist in creating programs and services that has a positive impact on employee engagement and service excellence
    • Collect, analyze and report on data beneficial to organizational development and learning
    • Design and facilitate learning programs based on needs and organizations strategic goals
    • Assist and help maintain standing programs in employee recognition, leadership development, learning, performance management and service excellence
    • Leverage technology in creating programs; e-Learning, web 2.0, social media, etc.
    • Assist in coordination of learning schedule & attendance recording
    • Evaluate and identify necessary improvements, make suggestions and recommendations
    • Assist in facilitation of new employee orientation and any revisions of program & materials
    • Lead the "Employee Events Committee", managing employee events
    • Write & proofread materials developed by department
    • Create surveys for needs and gap analysis and others as needed
    • Create presentations, flyers, brochures and other graphic materials
    • Collaborates with other members of ODL on initiatives that support short range and long range goals
    • Partner with other employees on projects, programs and initiatives.
    • Participates in committees as assigned
    • Conducts administrative duties as needed
    • Participates in other projects and duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Gerontology, Computer Programming, Learning and Organizational Development or Psychology.

    Skill Requirements

    • Microsoft office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook
    • Experience with web based design, e-learning, digital marketing
    • Excellent communication: written and verbal
    • Strong presentation ability
    • Strong graphic design
    • Ability to handle multiple projects with similar deadlines
    • Time management and organization
